Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and personable Night Manager to join our team. This role requires a proactive and reactive approach to ensure all guests have a memorable experience, leaving with a smile. As a key point of contact, the Night Manager will be responsible for overseeing night operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience: Act as the primary point of contact for guests during the night shift, providing exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction.

Operations Management: Oversee the nightly operations of the hotel, including front desk activities, security, and housekeeping.

Staff Supervision: Manage and support night staff, ensuring all duties are performed efficiently and effectively.

Safety and Security: Monitor and ensure the safety and security of guests and the property, handling any emergencies or incidents that may arise.

Reporting: Prepare and submit nightly reports to the hotel management, detailing any issues, guest feedback, and operational updates.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.

Communication: Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

Customer Service: Strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.

Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Food & Beverage Assistants that join us will be responsible for being both pro-active and reactive in ensuring that all of our guests have a memorable experience and leave with a smile.

Cook opportunity at Arnos Manor Hotel a great opportunity for a passionate Cook for 18 hours per week to join the team on a part time basis at this wonderful property that has recently benefited from a full refurb – who doesn’t love a new kitchen! If you want the opportunity as a Cook to be part of a passionate team who strive to deliver quality service and food then we would love to hear from you.

Arnos Manor Hotel has 73 bedrooms, our Cook will ensure they are prepped and ready to provide a quality well-presented food offering from our A la carte menu.

Our Cook will ensure that there is a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and that they ensure compliance with food standards.

Our Cook will have passion and commitment to quality, show team work with our guest service team, have previous experience as a commis / or production chef. Banqueting experience would be advantageous. Our Cook will cater for around 20 covers per evening and prepare buffet breakfast for up to 50 covers.

The Role:

· To prepare and deliver dishes from the menu

· To ensure all food hygiene and health & safety standards are adhered to.

· You will have a passion for quality and service, have exceptional organisational skills and be able to work using your own initiative.

This is an ideal role for someone with previous cook experience with an eye for detail

We have an opportunity for a Sales Researcherto join the team at Crest Hotels Group based at the Central Support Office in Arnos Manor Hotel, to support the commercial team. As Sales Researcher you will research and pro-actively support the sales team with creating new leads and opportunities across the UK, with a particular focus on each hotels need area which could vary from residential conferences, day meetings and transient corporate accounts, leisure accounts to reduce booking traffic through OTAs and high commission sites.

Use various platforms available to reach out to businesses for potential new business, phone calls, emails, LinkedIn to name a few.

Maximise on creating leads for all revenue streams i.e. conferences, meetings, Christmas, social events and corporate transient rates.

Identify and target leisure group business opportunities, including tour operators, travel agencies and coach operators and other potential clients.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and pricing as needed.

Key responsibilities and duties of the role

  • Identify new business opportunities and contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities to ensure that the pro-active sales team are informed to arrange face to face appointments.
  • To ensure that all client requirements are identified and clearly communicated both internally and externally with excellent attention to detail.
  • Liaise with the management team to ensure awareness of the sales targets and need areas to allow a focussed search on leads.

· Achieve a quarterly appointment target through telesales activities and face to face where appropriate.

  • Attend Agent activities in accordance with the Agency and Commercial Partner Plan.
  • Carry out comprehensive competitor analysis and checks to ensure new business leads are gained for research purposes.
  • Attend local networking events as required.
  • Liaise with the Group Commercial Director on local marketing initiatives and incentives, maximising all Company promotions for the hotel’s benefit.
  • Comply with the company Sales SOP manual and its key disciplines.
  • Pro-actively promote the entire group at every sales opportunity.
  • Manage enquiries through all sources in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with company standards ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times.

Salary – £25,000 plus commission
