Avisford Park Hotel has 140 bedrooms with meeting and event space for 220 delegates, with the flexibility to cater for any kind of event. We have an opportunity for a Receptionist to join the team at Avisford Park Hotel. The Receptionist will ensure a warm welcome to all our guests. Crest Hotels mission is to give every guest a memorable experience and leave with a smile, the Receptionist is the beginning and end of our guest experience.
The Role of Receptionist
The Receptionist will be responsible for a warm welcome with an efficient check-in and check-out, providing information to our guests. As the heart of the hotel the Reception team communicate with other departments and ensure information is shared for a great guest experience. The reception team ensure phones are answered, queries addressed, and that personal information is processed as required and stored securely.
An eye for detail, motivated, organised, time management, problem solver are all attributes that the successful candidate requires. Ideally the successful candidate will have hotel and Rez Control experience. The role of Receptionist will report to the Reception Manager, the role is on a shift rota basis with 5 days from 7 to include evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities:
– Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
– Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
– Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
– Perform administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and organizing documents
– Assist with data entry and maintaining databases
– Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
– Maintain a clean and organized reception area
– Provide general administrative support to staff as needed
Skills:
– Strong administrative and office skills
– Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
– Knowledge of clerical procedures and office management practices
– Professional phone etiquette and excellent verbal communication skills
– Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
– Ability to learn new computerized systems quickly
