We have an opportunity for a Housekeeping Assistant to join the team at Avisford Park Hotel as we expand the team. The Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for being both pro-active and reactive in ensuring that all public areas and guest bedrooms are clean and welcoming at all times.

The Role of Housekeeping Assistant

The Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards and ensuring guest bedrooms and public areas are cared for in line with process. The Housekeeping Assistant will be part of the team that provides a memorable experience for our guests with beautifully cleaned and welcoming bedrooms and guest areas whilst working safely at all times.

Fantastic organisation, communication, problem solving and being adaptable are attributes required in the role.

An eye for detail and for delivering memorable guest experiences for our guests make this a lovely role for someone who wants to make an impact on our guests.

The role of Housekeeping Assistant will report to the Housekeeping Manager, and is ideal for someone who has strong demonstratable experience in housekeeping. However we are happy to train and develop anyone who has the right attitude and wants to join our team!

Housekeeper

Duties:
– Clean and maintain assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
– Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing surfaces
– Change bed linens and make beds
– Replenish supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
– Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
– Follow established safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:
– Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred
– Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
– Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
– Ability to work independently and follow instructions
– Good time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks
– Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and standing for long periods of time
– Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members

The Role of Food & Beverage Assistant

The Leisure Club Team Leader will be responsible for delivering a great experience in leisure.

The Role of Leisure Club Team Leader

The Leisure Club Team Leader will support the Leisure & Golf Manager in ensuring that the Leisure Club is run effectively and efficiently, give a great guest experience enhancing the hotel experience overall.

The responsibilities will include pool tests, ensuring quality, cleanliness and Health & Safety standards are met across the pool and gym area whilst delivering excellent customer service. As the leisure club is open throughout the day the role will have a varied shift patterns covering early starts/ later finishes and weekends.

The Leisure Club Team Leader will maintain accurate membership records and will support the club with attracting more members.

The role requires ideally someone who is NPLQ or Pool Responder trained and who has Pool Plant knowledge, experience, and qualifications.

The Leisure Club Team Leader will ensure that all processes are followed within the Leisure Club and that they develop and train and support their team to do the same, as one team you will also interact with all other colleagues across the hotel.

The Night Porter will ensure a memorable experience from every interaction from the guest arrival to the fond farewell. We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join the team at Avisford Park Hotel as we expand the team. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading the team that help keep the hotel in a great condition for our guests.

The Maintenance Department are central to supporting the entire team to deliver a quality product and experience.

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading the team to ensure that our hotel is in a great condition and supports making a memorable experience for our guests.

A key aspect of the role is to ensure that the hotel is fully compliment with all legislation and that the hotel is safe and secure for all our guests and team. The successful candidate will forge a great rapport with colleagues of all levels and guests that they come into contact with.

The role of Maintenance Manager will report to the General Manager with a dotted line to the Group Property Manager, this is an opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about taking responsibility for a wonderful property and happy to lead a team that deliver a great service in terms of maintenance but also great customer service.

This role is ideal for someone who has strong front office and customer care skills with great communication and time management. The candidate will need previous experience, be able to lead a team and use their own initiative.

Scope

Ensure the efficient running of Maintenance related work within the hotel and grounds in a timely manner to ensure that the property is maintained to the Group standards.

Key responsibilities and duties of the role

  • Ensure that all reactive and planned preventative work is completed effectively while working with all departments within the hotel.
  • Ensure all statutory checks are completed and recorded such as Legionnaires, Fire Risk Assessment, Fire checks, water temperature checks.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner and that works areas are left clean and tidy.
  • Ensure that all company internal disciplines and procedures are established and followed in order to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support all procedures in maintaining brand standards and consistency.
  • Ensure that there is minimum disruption to guest and that all work is of the highest quality and that standards are maintained within the hotel.
  • Support property audits within the hotels and complete any action points in a timely manner.
  • Implement good practices and new technologies to conserve/optimize energy wherever possible.
  • Record benchmarking data including meter readings.
  • Manage maintenance stock levels.
  • Remain fully aware of the Hotels’ facilities and take every opportunity to ensure the hotel is maintained to an exception standard.
  • Identify issues and address them in a pro-active manner.
  • Ensure effective record keeping of all maintenance work is up to date.
  • Attend any communication meetings where appropriate to represent the department.
  • Ensure weekly updates are reviewed and acted upon.
  • Support the hotels environmental initiatives and policies in a proactive manner.

  • Comply with Company and statutory procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
